Decep Biography: Chimezie Prince Ekene professionally known as Decep is a Nigerian Afro-Pop singer and songwriter from Oru East Local Government Area, Omumma, Imo state. He was born on the 30th of October, 1996 to the family of Mr & Mrs, Chimezie who are based in Enugu state.

Decep started his career in music professionally back in 2017 and also released his first official record the same year. In the year 2020, he released his first major breakthrough single titled “Tension“. Some of his other singles include; 'Akachukwu', 'Paradise' and many more.

The 27-year-old singer listens to Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae and Trap and draws inspiration from Wizkid, Runtown, Chris Brown and Future for his own music. Decep currently has over 100k followers on his Instagram handle alone.
